At Shurley Instructional Materials, our mission is to inspire and empower ALL students to become competent, confident communicators by providing superior educational solutions and innovative teacher training tools. Our award winning English language arts curriculum, Shurley English, brings back student-teacher interaction, promotes higher-order thinking skills, and provides students with a successful base from which they can achieve mastery, retention, and enthusiasm for English. Today, there are eight editions of Shurley English that can be found in public schools, private schools, and homeschools throughout the United States and in ten foreign countries. The Shurley company is family-owned and operated by The Shurley Family.
