Black English Bookstore is a Black women-owned bookstore, online and in the heart of Historic Tampa Heights, launched to amplify voices and pay tribute to the ancestors who were unable to read and write. One of them is Sam Hightower (1860-1932) my great great grandfather. With this purpose and bookish joy, Black English Bookstore (BEB) was born and I am her shopkeeper.
