Founded in 1975, Obsidian supports—through publication and critical inquiry—arts of the African Diaspora. Distributed domestically and internationally, current issues of Obsidian are available online and in print for $15 (single issue) and $25 (double issue). Subscriptions are available for one year at $25 (individual) or $50 (institution), two years at $45 (individual) or $90 (institution), or three years at $65 (individual) or $130 (institution). Overseas subscribers please add $15 per year for shipping. All donations and gifts to the journal are tax deductible. Friends ($30), Supporters ($50), Patrons ($300), Benefactors ($500), and Publishers ($1,000) will receive special acknowledgement in future issues.
