Located inside MAISON FREETOWN Museum Afrikana Book Club is a bookstore focusing on books by black women authors. It originally started as a book club in 2018, but has always had a mission to facilitate a space where young black women can gather socially and grow intellectually through the exploration of literature produced by black women and literary works with strong black female characters and subject matters.
