SnowBridge Books specializes in out of print and antiquarian books in the History of Medicine and the Medical Humanities. Emphasis is placed on the Neurological, Behavioral, and Social Sciences, with particular interest in contributions associated with the University of Rochester. SnowBridge endeavors to advance understanding of man's fundamental condition through the compilation of bibliography, the dissemination of information, and the development of theory. SnowBridge derives its name from C.P. Snow's plea that the humanities and sciences be united. In its inception, SnowBridge acknowledges that progress in neuroscientific exploration provides potential for work of just this kind.
