Mountain River Press publishes Learning to Weave: A Woman-Loving Life. The memoir weaves a life from Southern roots into the lesbian feminist separatism of the 1970s in Baltimore, the growth of LGBTQ-centered Metropolitan Community Churches at the height of AIDS deaths in the 1980s, life in the ashram of a rich Indian Vedic yoga spiritual tradition, flowing in Taii Chi, and return to the mountains of Western Carolina.
