About

Basket is an independent community bookstore and art gallery in east Montrose specializing in contemporary art, literature, and thought. We also offer select general interest titles as well as art objects and paper goods. Our exhibition space features local and emerging contemporary artists. Through our programming and our offerings we provide a space for creative and intellectual exchange among Houston’s diverse arts & intellectual communities.
