About
Everyone’s Books is an independent bookstore specializing in books about social change, the environment, and multicultural children’s books. We're committed to providing a friendly, personal place where folks can come to shop, meet, rant about right-wing government, nurse a baby, or learn something new. History: Nancy Braus and Rich Geidel started Everyone’s Books on Elliot Street in 1984. They are both long-time peace and anti-nuclear activists who felt that there were many books and other materials that were difficult to find and set themselves the task of fulfilling that need. They have since both moved on from the store and it is now owned by Red Durkin who is carrying on the political spirit of the store.
