This Bel Canto Books location is located inside KUBO LB, a Filipinx-led creative collective. Founded in 2018 by Jhoanna Belfer, a Filipina-American poet and former hospitality executive, Bel Canto Books is a Long Beach, CA based indie bookstore with a standalone location on 4th Street and inside KUBO LB and Steel Cup Cafe. We offer a curated selection of BIPOC-focused fiction, nonfiction, and children's books, along with monthly book clubs, author events, workshops, and community events like the Festival of AAPI Books (FAB) and Liwanag Lit Fest.
