Welcome to Paso Robles' only bookshop! Established in 1989, Spare Time has been woman owned and operated ever since. Now owned by two best friends who have renovated and revitalized the same into something new and whimsical. Spare Time carries a variety of titles in almost every genre you can think of. From mysteries to romance, history to philosophy, and everything in between, we probably have what you are looking for! We carry a wide selection of used and new books as well as puzzles, games, stationary, and a variety of local hand made goods from local artisans. Spare Time is home to four bookshop dogs! There is usually one working at any given time and you can even shop their book recommendations in the shop as well! See you soon!
